Burger King Campaign

As a group we have decided to target those in the baby boomer generation who are on the go parents and workers. We plan to give them more accessible meal options that are figure as well as family friendly. We understand that its not always easy or a viable option to sit down and cook a full meal every night  so with this project we plan to show the healthier side of burger king that our audience won’t feel ashamed about running through a drive through for themselves or ’ polluting’ their children and families with as well when time is short.

Below we have linked nutrition  charts from the Burger King website including the list from the under 650 Calories menu and the nutrition values for all of the burger options on the menu:

Also on the site is a nutrition calculator where you chose each part of your order and it calculates everything to a ‘T’ from how many slices of lettuce and patties you choose down to your desert preference as well. Also is a link to their ’ Commitment to Food’ Corporate Responsibility Report :

To make our customers aware TV ads as well as billboards would be the best medium for advertisement. Visual advertisement for food is far more effective than a radio spot. It’s said a good portion of eating is done with the eyes so radio would not be as an appealing of a medium for use to reach the target customers. Rather than silly use of the King in commercials, more to the point ’ happy family’ commercials showing fresh and healthy meal options as well as calorie friendly options should be shown. Ones appealing to kids those appealing to their parents who would be purchasing these meals would be shown. Also, stressing the value of a dollar and getting quality product for your money would be a strategy to bring in and keep customer base.
